This is a challenging route, perfect for off-road cycling enthusiasts! With dense forests, picturesque villages, and stunning high-altitude views, the route will keep your interest until the very end.
Starting from Agrokipia, you’ll enter well-paved dirt roads, with the first climb taking you to Agios Epifanios, where the terrain becomes more adventurous. The mix of paved and dirt sections provides a balance, making the ride less tiring and giving you the chance to enjoy the beauty of the landscape.
A quick stop in villages like Fterikoudi, Askas, or the square of Paleochori will allow you to rest and meet the friendly locals, who will welcome you with authentic Cypriot warmth.
Descending towards Agios Epifanios, you’ll pass areas alongside the Akaki River, winding through lush orchards. Before returning to Agrokipia, enjoy the panoramic view of Nicosia, stretching out before you through the hills you cross. A route full of nature, history, and local culture that’s worth every pedal!

Points of interest include the Abbakoum Monastery in Fterikoudi, the Church in Askas, and the Transfiguration Church in Paleochori.
