On September 29, the Nicosia Tourism Board teamed up with the authentic Neapolitan pizzeria Nonna Rosa (Evagorou 1AB, Nicosia) with one goal: to bring the unique flavors of Cyprus and Nicosia into one of the world’s most beloved dishes — pizza.
The day began with a tasting of Nonna Rosa’s classic pizzas, prepared by Marco, an Italian pizzaiolo from Rome. After savoring the traditional recipes, the challenge was set: create a pizza dedicated to Nicosia.
Through tastings, experiments, and replacing Italian mozzarella and salami with authentic Cypriot products, the winning recipe was born.

The Autentica Nicosia will be available at Nonna Rosa from 31st October, and it will stay on the menu until the end of the year.
