This route begins through the enchanting pine forest and soon leads you to narrow uphill paths that cross picturesque villages such as Fterikoudi, Askas, and Fikardou, as well as larger communities like Paleochori, Pharmakas, and Klirou. As you pass through these small villages, you’ll feel the warmth and authenticity of the landscape. The welcoming locals, with their stories, will make you experience the unique charm of village life.

The route becomes steeper just after Agrokipia, but the refreshing scenery of the Serachi River will help you overcome the challenge. A stop at the square of Askas or Paleochori will allow you to rest and enjoy the local hospitality before continuing towards Pharmakas.

Don’t miss a stop by the Pharmakas dam and explore the uninhabited yet beautifully preserved village of Fikardou. The return towards Agrokipia is smoother, passing through the more modern communities of Klirou and Mallounta, offering a relaxing finish to this challenging yet highly enjoyable route.
