Mr. Theodoros Kringou was appointed by the new Board of Directors of the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) as President of Nicosia Tourism Board, succeeding Elena Tanou, who has been President for three consecutive terms.
Mr. Kringou is the Founder and CEO of the Infocredit Group, which operates internationally in the field of business and commercial risk information, ICG Middle East Commercial Services, First Cyprus Credit Bureau Ltd, and holds the Master Franchise of Presse Café in Cyprus.
During his 20 years of successful career in the field of Services, Mr. Kringou actively participated in various Business Associations and Non-Profit Organizations wanting to actively help the business community and society as a whole. He is an active member and served as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI 2018-20). Since September 2020, he has been the President of the “Union of Cyprus Mediators”, where he was previously a member of its Board of Directors. He is a Certified Mediator specializing in Commercial Dispute Resolutions, a member of the Chartered Governance Institute (FCG) and the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (FCICM). Among other things, he participates in various conferences as a speaker in Cyprus and abroad.
Mr. Kringou stated his readiness to assume the position of president and pledged to work diligently and enthusiastically for the tourism development and promotion of Nicosia. The vision of the new president of NTB is to enable the province of Nicosia to become a quality tourist destination, utilizing new technologies, with respect for the environment and cultural heritage.
Nicosia Tourism Board was established in November 2007 aiming at repositioning the city and region of Nicosia on the tourist map and the development and promotion of the tourist product. The Company is in the form of a non-profit company under private law and limited liability.
