The 6th annual interdisciplinary conference on Byzantine, Medieval, Renaissance and Early Modern art, literary, archaeological, historical and cultural studies.

Theatrical Play – “The Farce of the Fisherman” 
Early Modern Flemish Comedy (In conjunction with the Othello's Island Conference and CVAR).
A play by the sixteenth-century Dutch playwright Cornelis Evereart, presented by the University of Sheffield Renaissance Theatre, directed by Dr Charlotte Steenbrugge, produced by Jim Fitzmaurice and sponsored by the University of Sheffield. 

The Farce of the Fisherman is an Early Modern Flemish comedy which combines elements of folklore with a plot that might work for a modern day romcom. Actors will be students from the University of Sheffield and the University of Cyprus.
